WHY ALPHA FEMALE LEAGUE?
The truth is, todays women of color lack self-esteem, have low self-confidence, and we see little to no self-worth in themselves or respect for self or others. A lot of them miss or will miss opportunities that most other races will get because of this. We see this in those that degrade themselves by the clothes they wear and are often left behind in the workplace because of their lack of higher or continuing education. So many minorities turn to entrepreneurship as a way to either make ends meet, evade corporate America or because they lack knowledge or guidance to advance in their career field of choice or pursue their childhood dream.
Minority girls and young women of color have big dreams for their futures, but have a lack of basic resources, guidance, leadership, role models, connections that they can access to pursue that dream. Alpha Female League Inc help bridge this gap and offer educational and fun programs, events and workshops that prepares them for the future.
The main reason Alpha Female League was formed, goes back to the principles and belief of Founder Barbara Davis which is to “Build Strong Confident & Ambitious Women”. This includes, life coaching, mentoring, guiding, leading by example, creating opportunities, educating, building partnerships, providing assistance, forming a sisterhood and most of all, planting a seed today and laying a strong foundation where their roots can grow and flourish for tomorrow.
Therefore, Alpha Female League was formed by Barbara Davis a single struggling mother that wanted her girls to be and feel included, wanted her 4 girls to have a positive outlook on life and themselves and most of all grow to be strong confident and ambitious women. She realized the need to build a platform that would focus on black & brown youths and women that could provide them with a positive blueprint on how to be a strong, confident and ambitious woman. To be a leader with their own voice, good values and robust self-worth.

WHAT WE OFFFER
The club will offer programs, events and activities including bringing in guest speakers that will share life success skills, career choices, leadership knowledge and more!
